We are always collecting items from the following list. You can bring them to a Global Goods sale, drop them off anytime at my home, or call me to arrange a pick up. Respecting dignity, if you are donating used clothes, please donate only clean clothes with no stains or tears. Call me if you have a reasonably new laptop to donate to see if it is appropriate.
Needs:
- New socks and underwear, all ages
- Child and adult vitamins
- Books written in Spanish
- Toothbrushes
- Tylenol and Ibuprofen
- Puzzles, Dominos, and non-verbal games
- School supplies such as pens, calculators, rulers, markers (no paper or notebooks)
- Summer clothing all ages, new or clean used
- Laptops
- Backpacks
- Bathing suits, all sizes
- Simple first aid supplies (band aids, gauze, wraps, etc.)
- Make up especially bright colors (for traditional Balinese dancing and ceremonies)
- “Sexies” such as camisoles, lacy underwear and nightwear for women
- Recorders
Other Ways You Can Help
Some of our projects are looking for sponsors for a child’s educational program. A scholarship in Ecuador can be $200 while a year in Guatemala is $500. Uganda and Bali will vary depending on the specific school program. We can usually provide a photo thereby creating a personal bond. This is a powerful and compassionate way for a family to encourage global connections, generosity, and kindness.
