Global Goods Charitable Group

A New Global Goods Part Two

May 15, 2025 | Featured, News

Change is always a challenge, sometimes welcomed, sometimes not, but always inevitable. Making the change from selling goods for Global Goods to raising money for Global Goods Charitable Group has been exciting and challenging. I know my body is happy not to be lugging 50 pound bags around the world! There has been so much new to discover from forming our all female Board of Directors, figuring out tax implications to developing fundraiser opportunities.

This new website is so exciting for us as it reflects our new status and has so many new and easy ways to interact and help. Our web designer Jason, from In Touch Website Design is a real pro who made this easy for us. We will be updating and adding information on a regular basis. As we will rely on this website along with Facebook, emails, and Instagram to engage with our Global Citizens, we would love any feedback you might have.

We are thrilled also to announce our first matching grant opportunity! As a special incentive, a very generous Global Citizen has offered us up to $20,000 in matching funds.  I am amazed and exceedingly hopeful to kick off our new website and 501(c)3 status with this magnanimous offer. We will have some other fundraiser plans as well which will be announced on our website and social media. Let’s flourish and do good globally!
